Residential heat load estimator

This will give you an approximate idea of the size of split system you will require.

  1. Select the ceiling height of the area to be cooled.
  2. Enter the length of the room in metres.
  3. Enter the width of the room in metres.
  4. Press "Calculate". The answer will be in kW.
  5. Use the conversion table to determine the size (HP) of the split system needed.
